All deliveries are contracted out and will be made on non HGV vehicles, all wedi products are hand carriable and do not require crane offload vehicles. Deliveries are made to the kerb-side of your property, drivers are not insured to bring the order into or through your property, please ensure that there is someone on hand to offload, check and sign for the materials.
Next Day Delivery
In instances when your order is being delivered the next working day, the delivery times are between 8.00am to 6.00pm, we are unable to offer an AM or PM delivery service without applying a surcharge, the vehicles are not tracked, therefore we are unable to offer timed deliveries.
If your order is being delivered on our 2-3 day service we will always try to tell you the delivery day as soon as it is made known to us by the haulier.
Damages & Claims
We always hope that the materials arrive with you in good condition, when you receive delivery of your order you must follow the guidelines below:-
A) Check the packaging for any visible damage.
B) If in doubt please unpack the goods and inspect the item for any damage that may have occurred in transit.
C) Sign the delivery note or couriers machine as DAMAGED or reject the delivery. If a delivery note is signed UNCHECKED you may not be covered for replacements. wedi is waterproof to the core, any slight damage can often be repaired on site, it will not affect the function of the product.
D) You must report any damage to us within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise any claim will be rejected by the haulier. Please take pictures of the damaged item which will help us progress a claim and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
Given that often orders are moved from hubs to local depots, in some instances delays to deliveries can occur in exceptional circumstances, even though a delivery day has been agreed upon. If you are paying a carriage charge for an economy service, this is the amount it costs to deliver the materials to you whichever day the delivery arrives, it is not an overnight service, therefore a delivery charge cannot be refunded. We do not charge for deliveries of those materials that can be made on a next working day service.
Please do not engage the services of a plumber or another trade to install the materials on a specific day until all the wedi products are received by you, we will not accept any costs caused by a delay in a delivery reaching you.
