The core of the wedi system is its base material the wedi building board. Thanks to its unique properties, it is one of the most versatile interior building boards in the construction industry today. main characteristics such as 100% watertightness, thermal insulation, mould and fungus protection and lightweight construction are paired with straightforward, secure installation and reduced overall processing time. It is suitable for tiling or plastering and can be applied to practically any substrate.

wedi I-Board is a ready-to-use installation board for cladding of wall-hung toilets. Despite ist low weight it’s extremely robust and has a very high load-bearing capacity thus creates an additional ledge surface in the toilet area. Furthermore, thanks to its width of 1200mm, it can be easily adapted to practically any requirements.
6 self-tapping screws and 6 washers are included in the scope of delivery for mechanical installation.
Alternatively, installation is also possible by direct-bonding with the aid wedi 610 adhesive sealant, in this case, wedi Reinforcement tape also required for the reinforcement of the joints. *to be purchased separately*
